Dr. Amie Segner became an associate veterinarian with Oakside Animal Clinic in 2011. She graduated from THE Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 after pursuing an Animal Science degree from there as well. Dr. Segner grew up in Union County and spent weekends as a child on her aunt and uncle’s farm riding horses and taking care of their many cats and dogs. Their vet was a family friend and allowed Dr. Segner and her cousins to “help out” with the cattle and horses. She closely watched everything he did and knew from a young age that she wanted a career in the veterinary field.
Dr. Segner loves the fact that no two days are ever the same when caring for animals and gets great satisfaction from making people smile when their pets are feeling better.
In her free time, Dr. Segner enjoys spending time with her family camping, riding off road in their RZR, fishing and watching OSU football games!
