Melissa Dunn, DVM

Dr. Melissa Dunn grew up in a dog-loving household in Wooster, Ohio. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology from The College of Wooster in 2012, she moved to Delaware and joined Oakside Animal Clinic as a veterinary assistant. She was thrilled for the opportunity to stay in the community she’s grown to love and join the clinic as a veterinarian after graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Her professional interests include feline medicine, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Dunn loves educating clients on their furry family members health and being able to witness the power of the human-animal bond on a daily basis. She is a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. 

Dr. Dunn lives with her husband, Logan, a high school athletic director, close to downtown Delaware. They have 5 furry family members: 3 pugs (Chloe, Cue and Boston) and 2 cats (Paisley and Peter Patton). When not working, she enjoys eating at the many wonderful restaurants in Delaware and Columbus, working out, and spending time at home with her family. Her and her husband also love to travel and experience new cities and food as often as they can.
